This coffee is a snapshot of place, grown on the Durazno lot within El Velo farm, part of the legendary Hacienda La Esmeralda. Located high in the Quiel region, this lot benefits from cool mountain air, volcanic soils, and the precise cultivation that has made Esmeralda a benchmark for Geisha worldwide.
After harvest, the cherries are depulped and fermented for 72 hours, allowing delicate florals and sweetness to develop. The coffee is then carefully dried in a mechanical dryer over 17 days, ensuring stability while preserving its aromatic clarity.
We’ve roasted it ultra-light to let the nuances shine. Expect layered florals, hibiscus, rose, and jasmine, supported by a soft honey sweetness and refined structure.
