This coffee is a snapshot of place, grown in the lush highlands of Tierras Altas, where Gato Grande Coffee Forest continues the legacy of the Hartmann family’s century-long coffee heritage. Established by fourth-generation grower Yessie Hartmann and partner Jean Paul Langenstein, the farm brings together deep-rooted tradition and cutting-edge innovation.
Lot 5 is a Geisha processed with a cold ferment washed method, a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation that enhances clarity and structure. The result is a vibrant, crystalline cup brimming with citrus complexity and floral elegance.
We’ve roasted it ultra-light to let the nuances shine. Expect notes of yuzu, white florals, apricot, white grapes, and pear, an ethereal cup with a lifted acidity and silky, fruit-driven finish.
